Guillermo Guillén serves as Chief Operating Officer of Bellementis PLLC, where he oversees the firm’s business operations and the people, resources, technology, systems, and infrastructure that support its lawyers and clients. Working closely with firm leadership, he translates strategic priorities into operating plans, aligns resources with organizational requirements, and develops the processes and controls necessary to support disciplined execution, organizational effectiveness, and sustainable growth.

Guillermo brings more than three decades of leadership and operational experience spanning the private sector, U.S. government, and military. His experience encompasses strategic and operational planning, resource allocation, budgeting and program management, workforce planning, organizational design, technology integration, process improvement, risk management, and organizational readiness. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary organizations comprising civilian professionals, military personnel, contractors, and international partners and managed operations distributed across the United States and overseas.

Before entering the private sector, Guillermo served more than 22 years as an officer in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His career progressed from direct organizational leadership to senior operational and program-management responsibilities, with assignments in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Throughout his career, Guillermo has directed complex operations involving large, multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed organizations, including responsibility for more than 900 personnel. His experience includes strategic and operational planning, workforce and resource allocation, multimillion-dollar program management, technology integration, organizational readiness, and process improvement. In senior military and private-sector operations and program-management roles, he has aligned personnel, financial, and technology resources with organizational priorities; led cross-functional teams; managed long-range workforce requirements; and implemented operational and technology changes that reduced costs, streamlined processes, and improved organizational performance.

Beyond Bellementis, Guillermo has devoted significant time to supporting veterans, their families, and his community through The American Legion. A longtime Legionnaire, he has served in leadership positions at the Post, District, Department, and National levels, including as a District Commander and National Committee Chairman.

At Bellementis, Guillermo applies an operator’s perspective to the business of the firm: aligning people and resources with strategy, building scalable systems and processes, anticipating operational requirements and risk, and creating the organizational infrastructure that allows the firm’s lawyers and professionals to focus on delivering exceptional client service.
